The One With the Needed Recap
Oh y'all. Sorry for not having blogged in about a week. Last week was just so busy that I felt like every time I crossed off something on my to-do-list that I always ended up adding two new things anyways--taking one step forward to only take two back. It was so hectic with another ridiculously hard lab write-up, two exams, the research lab, a never-ending pile of homework, and of course, VALENTINE'S DAY! Last week proved to be some hurdle!
I can barely recall how I got through the week. Of course, it consisted of lots of very late nights and early mornings. I would basically run off of 3.5-4 hours of sleep with a bottle of Cherry Coke in tow as I made my way through campus to my classes. I would very much struggle in my afternoon Linguistic class and the Chemistry lab, which always has something wrong with the procedures or materials. But as rough as the week was...of course, a no-brainer would be that the highlight of the week was Valentine's Day. This was the first Valentine I've ever had wherein I actually had someone to share it with who not only went the extra mile but ran it. I'm not going to go into all the cheesy details, but let's just say, it'll be a hard task to top this one off.
Well, but anyways...Fortunately for most of y'all, there will be no classes for tomorrow. Oh, good ol' presidents of the US of A. Unfortunately for me, I'll be dragging my feet across the Horseshoe at 9AM to make my 9:05 Physics.
Here is to another week up ahead. No Chemistry lab needs to be written this week, but there will be a Chemistry exam on Wednesday...oh sigh! Then there are lots of readings that need to be done for my Science & Spirituality class, and some definite catching up that is in order for my Logic class. Oh, the only thing to truly look forward to now is Spring Break, which is about 15 class-days left, I believe. If you count the weekends, there are about 18 more days.
Oh y'all...enjoy your day off! Keep us, Carolina, on your mind...and well, good day and catch y'all on the flipside, future Gamecocks!
